Armadale Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service
The events replicate what firefighters had to do at the end of the nineteenth century and involve both ‘dry’ and ‘wet’ events. ‘Dry’ events require runners to connect hoses, hydrants, branches (nozzles) and other equipment without the use of water. ‘Wet’ events are the same as ‘dry’ events but water is used to strike targets (representing a fire).
